Domain Name Registrar
NameCheap is a domain name registrar that offers domain names for an inexpensive $10/year. I only use them for Domain Registrar.
Hosting
Siteground is my go to website hosting due to their fast and efficient support. There are different levels of hosting but I do like them for WordPress hosting for anyone starting out. They provide a good service and good value.
Managed WordPress Hosting
WP Engine is a managed WordPress Hosting, which means that they will take care of all the maintenance and technical issues involved in keeping your WordPress site running as fast as possible. Managed WordPress hosting definitely costs more than the regular shared hosting, but sites run faster, are more stable, and you worry less.
Logo Design
99designs.com is a crowd-sourced design community where you can run a design contest. My clients and colleagues have used this with great success in cases where they do not have a graphic designer available to them. They tend to be good for logo designs.
Online Scheduling
Schedulicity has excellent customer support by phone or email, as well as a 30-day no credit card required trial. They also offer very good webinars to get you going and video tutorials are also available.
Apptoto is a text sms reminder service. Apptoto extracts contacts from your calendar and automatically sends appointment reminders and confirmations to ensure your clients arrive at your office on-time and prepared. Apptoto can also send follow-ups to ensure they keep coming back.
Website Monitoring
Pingdom is the standard app for testing website availability and response time. With the free account you get to monitor one site from their website as well as from their mobile app on iOS and Android.
StatusCake offers website and server monitoring every 5 minutes on its FREE account and will give you uptime reports so you can see if your host really is performing.
